She is the founder and driving force behind Zamindar Microsurgical Eye Centre, one of Bangalore’s leading eye hospitals, known for its commitment to quality, ethics, and accessible eye care. 

Her approach blends clinical excellence with compassionate care, backed by a deep commitment to systems thinking and safety. Under her leadership, Zamindar Eye Centre became one of India’s first five NABH-accredited Eye Care Organizations (ECOs) a milestone that raised national benchmarks for patient safety and quality in ophthalmology. 

Dr. Zamindar is a certified professional in Quality Implementation in Healthcare (CPQIH) and a registered NABH assessor, guiding hospitals across India and Southeast Asia. She has trained over 300+ eye care professionals through her pioneering initiative, Eye for Quality, and has conducted workshops on patient safety, SOP writing, and infection control, both in India and internationally.
